What is the minimum order for Axis Toys & Gifts?
The minimum order for a direct account is $300 net in Australia and AUD$500 net for New Zealand. Australian orders under $300 incur a $12.50 pick and pack fee. Faire orders follow Faire's own minimums, which are typically lower.
Who is the Australian distributor for Steiff, Lundby, Sassi, Micki and similar brands?
Axis Toys & Gifts is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor for Lundby, Sassi, Micki, Miniland, Plasto, By Astrup, Kruselings, in-wood, Hess Spielzeug, Yogi Fun and Pippi Longstocking. We are also the agent for Steiff in Australia and New Zealand. Should I apply directly or via Faire?
Direct accounts suit established retailers who want the full range, carton discounts, marketing support and a dedicated account contact. Faire suits newer or smaller retailers who want 60 day terms (for eligible retailers), free returns on the first order and the familiarity of the Faire platform. New-to-Faire retailers also get 50% off their first order up to $150 and a year of free shipping. Both paths give you access to wholesale pricing on our range.
What are the payment terms for a direct account?
Direct orders are on a pro forma basis by default, with payment due before dispatch. 30 day accounts are also available for approved customers. We accept EFT, Mastercard and Visa. Retailers wanting longer net credit terms can apply through Faire, which offers net 60 on its own terms.
Are there carton discounts on direct orders?
Yes. Carton quantity discounts apply on eligible product lines for eligible customers. Your account manager will confirm which lines qualify and the discount that applies to your account.
How do I hear about stockist-only promotions and deals?
Approved direct stockists are subscribed to our trade newsletter, which is the first place we announce exclusive promotions, end-of-season deals, new release previews and seasonal campaign assets.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours of order confirmation. During trade fair times and seasonal peaks (such as the lead up to Christmas) please allow additional time. Backorders are visible in your online account.
How is freight calculated?
Freight is calculated on cubic or weight, whichever is greater, and added at the time of dispatch. Free Into Store applies on direct orders of $1,000 net and over for East Coast Metro and Adelaide Metro. See the Shipping & Returns page for the full regional schedule.
Can I get product images and marketing assets?
Yes. Approved stockists get access to high-resolution product imagery, brand logos, videos and seasonal catalogues. These are downloadable from your wholesale account once you log in.
Do you offer exclusive territory or product rights?
In some categories and regions we may consider an exclusive arrangement. Talk to your account contact about what is possible for your brand or store.
I run an education or childcare setting. Can I open an account?
Yes. We supply a number of brands suitable for educational settings, including some that are education-only. Apply for a direct account and mention your setting in the application.
