Once upon a time, there was a ball of yarn, as soft and white as snow. Every day mother added a little more yarn to be sure the ball always remained perfectly round. Proud to be so perfect and so loved, the ball of yarn decided to go out and show itself to the world. It saw so many beautiful things all around and ventured into beautiful new places! It was all so different from the nice, safe straw basket with a silk lining where it was placed every evening. And as its world expanded so did the colours it collected along the way from the journey it experienced.
